This car was purchased as a project car from Hartford, CT. It was shipped to our home in Las Vegas, NV. For 3 years, the car was dismantled and redone:
We moved back to Wilbraham, MA in 2018.
Replaced the worn Running Boards , mats and stainless steel trim. The work was completed by Rick Foy's Hot Rod Garage.
Excellent body work to get the new steel fenders to exactly match the 90 year old car body. Work performed by Rick Foy and his team.
Lambert Enterprises was contacted to create a custom LED Tail Light System that includes sequenced directional signal and integrated Reverse light. Body work performed by Rick Foy's Hot Rod Garage, Southwick, MA.
Successfully passed a A 23 point safety inspection that was performed by the National Street Rod Association in Mesquite, NV.
Replaced the gauges with Dakota Digital brand designed for a 1934 Ford. Used a 1931 Chevy Dashboard since it has more room for the A/C Vents than the 1932 Chevy dash. A new Rockford Fosgate AM,FM, XM Receiver replaced the Kicker Receiver.
Engine replacement was just performed in April 2023. Engine has a 12 month warantee. The TH350 Transmission was also rebuilt. at this time.
1932 Chevy chassis features Mustang II IFS, custom boxed frame, Derale transmission cooler, E-Stoppe electic emergency brake system, PTFE braided stainless steel fuel line, 6 AN fuel filter and shut-off valve, Ford 9" rear with 2:73 gears, Titanium wrapped exhaust system and front and rear sway bars.
One of the greatest pleasures of owning this car is being able to drive it anywhere you want to go. In 2021 and 2022 we participated in the Fortunato Fall Foliage Rally https://fortunatorally.com where participants compete for points in a scavanger hunt style vintage car rally. We drove over 1000 miles, visited 7 northeastern states and completed the rally in 3 days. We came in 3rd place for both years. This video is driving through Smugglers' Notch in northern Vermont 2022.

Engine was removed along with the interior, fenders and running boards
Chevy 350 CID engine was partially disassembled , inspected and reinstalled.
It took months getting the body ready for paint.

Larry Gilbert spent over a week to construct the console from steel
Console includes a Rockford Fosgate marine receiver,, USB Port, Speakers, 4 push button switches and Power Window switches.

Cutting industrial grade vinyl for the trunk floor.
Embossed herringbone vinyl is surrounded by rich leather.
19 gallon fuel tank and battery are surrounded by Don's beautiful leather upholstery.
